The Family Love Tree is the pet project of Melbourne-based costume designer and fashion stylist Katie Graham.  Inspired by a second honeymoon in Bali, Indonesia, Katie came up with the concept for her new homewares collection, which is characterised by bold colour and a brave, bohemian sense of style.  Katie has sourced an extensive collection of handcrafted rattan bedheads, occasional furniture and freestanding screens in white, natural (unpainted), brilliant turquoise, teal and deep pink.  These are paired with vibrant soft furnishings for a truly eyecatching range, all available in The Family Love Tree online shop.  The colours are totally AMAZING.
Katie says The Family Love Tree collection is all about 'throwing the windows open, letting in some bright, whimsical joy, and feeling the love, life and colour that can grow in your house!'.  I must say there is something so relaxed and carefree about this eclectic range - it really does seem to bring a sense of tropical holiday into the home.  I am seriously loving the amazing range of quilts... lots to check out on The Family Love Tree website - its impossible to choose just one favourite!

Katie has had a long and respected career in the film industry - she originally studied costume design at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAPA), before moving to Melbourne in 1990.  In the twenty-two years that have passed since then, Katie has worked on a great variety of feature films, TV series and music videos, and has dressed actors and personalities including Kylie Minogue, Misha Barton, Radha Mitchel, Holly Valance and Rachel Griffiths.  She's also had her own fashion label!

Katie still works in the film industry and also has three young children.  At present she's jugging film projects with The Family Love Tree and the inevitable busy-ness that comes with being a Mum to three kids!  Hmmm I dare say an escape from the film industry is imminent...  something tells me The Family Love Tree will be a fulltime project before very long!
