This week on the Guest Blog we have a super inspiring week of crafty projects for the young at heart, courtesy of the very clever folk at makedo!

Makedo is a brilliant locally designed 'connector system' that can be used with all kinds of materials including cardboard, plastic and fabric, to create incredible new objects, toys and structures.   Makedo is especially great for making ENORMOUS things like furniture and play houses and giant creatures big enough to crawl inside(!) - which would be pretty tricky to make using just sticky tape and a stapler!   Such a simple genius idea.  Rather than buying your kids a new toy, buying a makedo kit gives them the tools to create endless toys, costumes, cubby houses and more - using nothing but waste materials, packaging and other bits and pieces you might have lying around the house.   The makedo system encourages kids to be resourceful - to see value in what is around them.   The perfect way keep your kids entertained all holidays!
