How to submit
The Design Files currently attracts a readership of over 170,000 visits a month. An additional 10,000 people subscribe to the daily posts by RSS or email. We love submissions, but please understand that we may not be able to respond quickly to every email – there is usually a bit of a backlog!
If you would like to submit something to The Design Files, please follow these guidelines!
- Please send low-res images which are at least 520 pixels wide where possible.
- Please include a bio or a little personal background about yourself / the business owners, in addition to your press release.
- Please let us know if your product has been featured elsewhere online or in print – priority will be given to content which has not yet been covered elsewhere.
- Please be aware we schedule most content weeks in advance – we will not be able to run a story within days of receiving your submission.
Also please remember The Design Files is always on the look out for Australian Homes to feature! This section is by far the most popular content on the site… so if I don’t have a spot for your shop / product / business in the short term, perhaps consider submitting some shots of your home instead!
