This smoothie recipe was such a fun one to create and name. It’s my take on the typical strawberry breakfast smoothie, but a slightly fancier version with the addition of rosewater and rose petals.

This smoothie is made with love, and I always like to make it for the special people in my life. Besides tasting delicious, Rosy Posy also has a great hit of natural antioxidants contained in the rose petals.

Ingredients (Serves 2)

1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)

1⁄2 cup cashew nuts, soaked for 2 hours or overnight, then rinsed

1 tsp rosewater

1⁄2 vanilla pod, split and seeds scraped

2 tablespoons raw honey

2 cups of almond milk

Edible rose petals, to serve

Method

Place the strawberries, cashews, rosewater, vanilla seeds, raw honey and almond milk in your blender and process until smooth (this will smell amazing!).

Pour into glasses and top with a few rose petals. A fun, girly creation!
