We have another fab Melbourne retail find to share with you today, this time an old favourite with a new address - Hut 13, which has recently moved from its teeny tiny shopfront in Armadale to a bigger location in Swan street Richmond! Hut 13 has always been a firm favourite around here - run by industrious proprietor Lucy Mora, it's always full of unexpected finds and vibrant colour, with a great edit of homewares and handcrafted pieces by local makers and designers.  Some of our favourite local creatives are represented here (and have been for a LONG time, even before they were well known / borderline famous!), amongst them Emily Green, Sandra Eterovic, Rachel Castle, Gemma Patford and more. 'I am very excited by the new location!' says Lucy cheerfully, adding - 'Swan Street has a bustle and vitality that stands in contrast to our previous location'.  One of the things Lucy is particularly excited about is developing the generous gallery space at the rear of her store into an exhibition space for various events and openings. 'I hope to develop my support for up-and-coming artists, and the space lends itself to this' Lucy says. Monthly exhibitions will include the work of Emily Green, Alex Falkiner, Chelsea Gustafsson, and others as the year progresses.
