This week we welcome Amy Wright from Wunderplant to the Guest Blog! We are very fortunate to have Amy creating a posy of lovely blooms every day this week, perhaps even inspiring you to creating your own sweet arrangement (oh, is that Valentines Day I see on the calendar tomorrow?!). It's going to be a beautiful week, thank you Amy! - Jenny x

Hello, I'm Amy from Wunderplant. This week we will be visiting some quirky floral habitats and creating a posy a day. We're starting the week off with a Cottage Garden posy...

I am very lucky to have some escapist landscapes to visit, as my parents both live on the Bellarine Peninsula. Recently, with a rare day to myself, a visit to my father's property  in Drysdale property for an impromptu cottage posy was on the cards.

The garden was a-flourish with whimsical floral delights!  I love the tail-end of summer, as the last vibrant blooms pop and and many summertime favourites are beginning to die back.  It is these dried flowers, in their dormant state with their graphic outlines that inspire today's posy.

My cottage posy creation is a mix of vibrant, soft petals and crisp dried blooms - an unusual combination that truly explores the transitory nature of fresh flowers in a cottage garden.
