Taking Time with Tiel of Tsk Tsk - Day to Day

Recently we moved houses so right now I paint and draw in our main bedroom. It’s a little odd, but you see our bedroom is oddly large in size. When I first moved out of home and shared accommodation, I lived in flats that were about the same size.

Our intentions are to build a wall and divide the room, rip up the carpet, polish the concrete and remove the old verticals.

I have a beautiful view over the Brisbane River. Poinciana, Illawarra Flame and Jacaranda trees are in bloom right now so all around me I see orange, green and purple bursts throughout the landscape.

Each week canvases and sheets of paper spread out a little further and works in progress lean against any available wall. I have a very laid back and understanding husband. I look forward to having better storage and a space that people can visit, one that is separate to the home. I will be able to work better by not seeing washing baskets in the corner of the room or looking at house mess. But for now I am happy.
