The amazing caravan roadtrip of Kate Ulman and family. These pics by Rohan Anderson.
I received a wonderful out-of-the-blue email recently from Daylesford-based Kate Ulman, who is currently on the road, spending 6 months on an incredible adventure with her husband Brendon and their three young daughters, discovering Australia in a fabulous re-vamped 1980′s caravan!
AMAZING!
It’s a truly inspiring journey which you can share vicariously through Kate’s blog – she’s been documenting the journey online since the start of their trip.
When not adventuring around our sunburnt country with their gorgeous kids in tow, Kate and Brendon run Daylesford Organics - a certified organic family farm in Daylesford with a focus on sustainability and biodiversity. The Daylesford Organics blog is also well worth a visit… I have never seen such vibrant multicoloured vegetables!

I love seeing Australia through other peoples eyes…thanks for letting us in on this gorgeous blog.
oh, what a gorgeous caravan and what an amazing experience. Thank you for sharing it with us!
oh lordie!! What a blast from the past… My parents took me and my two sisters on a road trip through NT and western Qld when I was 5… and we went to the Devil’s Marbles… Formative years. We camped in our old Matilda folding trailer tent though, nothing quite as luxurious as Kate’s deluxe mobile!
love all the patch work ! Living the Dream :)
I love Kate and her gang and their beautiful crafty caravan. So glad she’s writing her blog while she’s away so we can share their adventure!
would love to do that with my growing little family one day!
I’m loving reading Kate’s caravaning adventure & really hoping to do it with my gang one day…
the mixy-matchy sheets and bed coverings are awesome
great adventure….one of my dreams :-)
I can’t believe this post was a year ago.
I’ll never forget being in a mechanics in Kunnunarra with two blown tyres when I got a text from a friend to tell me about your post. Talk about two worlds colliding.
I’m so pleased I did blog it all to look back on now.
I think it’s time for the next adventure.
