Dear Lucy,

My Design Files e-mail arrives every afternoon in Toronto, and I open it eagerly. I love reading about everything deisgn related going on at home- it keeps me in touch and abreast of everything. You do such a wonderful job, and your photos are always wonderful.
A few thoughts I wanted to share with you as a writer from Melbourne (St. Kilda) living abroad in various cities over the last 11 years:
Do you know about the wonderful sisters Sass and Amy Cocker? Sarah lives in Melbourne and is the creator of ‘Ask Alice’ stationery, and Amy, her sister lives in Barcelona and is the creator of ‘Heartcore’, badges and wallets and little vanity mirrors backed with vintage fabric. They both have cute websites you can find more info on.
They are two of the most gorgeous girls, doing such creative things I thought that if you didn’t, you should know about them!
Also, I am curious if you’ve thought about sometimes featuring the homes of design related Aussies living overseas. I am curious what others like our family are doing and where they are living in the world, and how they make their foreign homes feel comfy and happy and if they do or don’t need to relate them in some way to Australia.
Or is that reaching too far out of your scope?
Anyway, all really an excuse just to have a little chat with you to say hello, and congratulate you on a fantastic blog which i adore getting, where ever I am.
