I quite like these punchy, hypercolour paintings by Melbourne artist Emma Coulter. Emma’s new exhibition, Shedding Skin, opens today in Melbourne at FortyFive Downstairs… with a background in interior design, she’s been super lucky to gain support from within the design industry so far (exhibition sponsors include Stylecraft, Schiavello and Jardan), however Emma’s dream would be to gain commercial gallery representation. She’s convinced this show is her ‘make or break’ moment – we have our fingers crossed for you Emma!
