A huge THANK YOU to Megan Park for her fashion filled Guest Blog this week and for the extra special giveaway too. It’s been such a treat to see a glimpse behind the scenes of how a fashion range comes together and today we see the result of all that hard work- The Winter 2011 Collection. Have a great weekend everyone! -Jenny x

Some of the stunning Megan Park Winter 2011 Collection – so, so beautiful!!

Numerous trips to India and months of late nights eventually sees the completion of the collection.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our Winter 2011 collection. It is easy and wearable and yet still decadent and directional.  Fashion editors are writing it up as being ‘on trend’, however this was not intentional. I never design to be ‘on trend’, we design what we love and hope that others will appreciate the timeless beauty of what we try to create.  There is nothing more flattering to me than when I see a cool gorgeous woman wearing ‘vintage’ Megan Park of 10 or more years ago and it looking as fresh as anything else of the season.

It is also exciting to see the collection hanging in our new flagship High st, Armadale store in Melbourne.

But now onto the next collection…….

Thanks for having me Design Files,
Megan x
