Ceramic works in progress by Kylie of Paper Boat Press
Kylie Johnson’s ceramics studio
Kylie Johnson is a Queensland-based potter and a published poet. Kylie’s little business is Paper Boat Press – here she has combined her love of words with her love of ceramics to create unique vessels and ornaments, hand stamped with Kylie’s words or quotes from other well known wise and thoughtful people!
Kylie has a lovely little blog where she has recently posted some beautiful behind the scenes studio pics (some borrowed here!). You can buy her Paper Boat Press pieces online here. Such pretty things… and even a few Christmassy crafted pieces which I wouldn’t normally go for but truly they are so pretty! Well worth a pre-December browse…!

Kylie’s studio looks gorgeous – so many pretty colours. Thanks for posting Lucy!
i’ve already ordered myself some little treasures :) i love those lunch shots too.. it’s so true.. i think creative people often have lunch at their desk because if you’re in the middle of something you really don’t want to stop.
I love Kylie’s stuff. I have one of her cloud brooches and cloud earrings. They feel so lovely in your hands. As well as just looking sweet and cute.
I have been admiring Kylie’s work for a while now, so lovely!
so, so cute!
I love this. Love it. Love it. Love it.
Oooh, two artists in a row stocked by Yarraville shop Mandrake and Willow! Bought one of Kylie’s ceramic hanging stars from there just the other day.
I love Kylie’s ceramics. I’ve actually ran out of friends who I can give her ceramic gift tags to! Might have to progress to those gorgeous bowls but I feel it would be too difficult to pass them on!
