Brand new Williamstown interiors store – The Assembly Hall
The Assembly Hall
How gorgeous is new little store in Williamstown!? The Assembly Hall has been open just 3 weeks, and stocks a great variety of vibrant, eclectic homewares, textiles, fashion and accessories sourced throughout India, Indonesia and of course locally too!
Not surprisingly, co-owners Sami Moiler and Jess Bettenay have an impressive list of creative credentials – Sami as an interiors stylist for 8+ years, working for magazines including Real Living and Home Beautiful, and Jess in fashion working as brand manager for Trelise Cooper. Their brand new shop has been a labour of love for this super creative pair, who have spent many months sourcing product and renovating the store interior with their own bare hands! :)
Nice one ladies…! A great excuse to cross the bridge!

I think I need to go to Williamstown. Stat.
Thanks for the intro, it look great …. we are planning a trip to Melbourne in the next few weeks, I shall call in for a peak !!!
Oh good! Haven’t been to Williamstown for a while, but this gives me a very good reason to plan an excursion over the bridge as you say!
Thanks for letting us know :)
It’s a beautiful shop, uplifting and very inviting. I almost spontaniously bought a divine $250 patchwork rug – but I thought it was best to go home and think about it. Damn. I live in Williamstown…it’s nice to see this post here.
I visited the store yesterday and it is divine!
SO many lovely treats and so beautifully decked out, really classy.
The girls are lovely too.
Cheers Lucy
Finally Williamstown has shop that is of an upmarket store in the citys calibre!
