- Oh My.  I am not sure how I will cope without Down Girl next week!  I am so sad to see her go!  How will I know what to wear in the morning?  We shall all have to make a point of visiting Lizzy's blog very regularly for our weekly Down Girl  fix! HUGE thanks to Lizzy for her stellar performance this week!  What a natural! - Lucy x

Hello! How have you been since we last spoke? It only feels like yesterday since we were together, oh hang on…! Well, sadly I am flying the coop as today is my last day in the cozy Design Files nest. Lucy has been so accommodating, sharing her feed and lovely home with me. I have had so much fun and in turn maybe inspired myself a little too much. While hunting I possibly gathered a few too many things to take home with me. I think I will need to hibernate for the weekend and save some pennies for my next adventure in the big wild world of fashion. So, today’s fashion collective is inspired by nothing else but my inner animal instincts and calling to nature. I have always had a strong love for forest creatures and native objects, I find it very hard not to be hypnotized by a wild, nature-inspired aesthetic. We all have that inner animal (like max) that sometimes calls us to be wild and do things like run down the street howling at the moon with our pack of friends. I know I constantly have these inner urges. I just have to make sure I am in like-minded company when ‘the rats’ take over, Friday afternoon in the studio tends to be a common place where wildness begins. I know your thinking what is ‘the rats’? Well, you actually know because I’m sure you’ve had them before. Its that inner scream feeling that you have to suppress, its when you’re so revved up that you can’t concentrate on anything but being crazy and wild. Nothing will bring you back from ‘the rats’, you must just let it out. Well, its been so nice to know you and so nice to visit you everyday. I hope I see you again some time soon. Fond farewells & Friday night wildness, DG xx
