I have a confession to make. I have a major crush on The Australian Ballet.
I mean, if the Australian Ballet was a person, he/she would be cultured, super intelligent and devastatingly attractive. Don’t you think?
Proving they are as cool as they are cultured, the team in ballet-land have just launched a gorgeous range of new tote bags – collaborating with Chip Chop, no less!
GORGEOUS new Australian Ballet v. Chip Chop tote bags – available here. ps) In actual fact, the ballet tote bags have been SO popular since launching 2 weeks ago, the ‘PLIÉ CHASSÉ JETÉ‘ design is already out of stock! :( BUT don’t despair! The double-pass can be used for any performance in either the Melbourne or Sydney show seasons – for Melbourne, any date between 27th August and 4th September (all info here) and for Sydney between 12th and 29th November (all info here).

I first saw the Australian Ballet in the 60′s with my mum when I was nine year old ballet student. They performed A Midsummer Night’s Dream, a stunning and magical production that left me spellbound. After the show, mum managed to get us backstage to meet the ballerina Elaine Fifield in her dressing room, can you imagine? She was beautiful and gracious, signing my program and asking me about my ballet classes. A night I will never forget!
If I attend does super intelligence and devastating attraction transpire on to me?? lol In that instance it may even be worth BUYING tickets…………. free’s good too though! :D
