Shonah jewellery design

Handmade pendants by Melbourne-based Shonah Tomkins

Still having a ball in Sydney and I have been photographing my little heart out… however it always takes longer than I imagine to do all the image compiling, formatting etc… so there’ll be more Sydney news tomorrow!

Meantime thought I would share these gorgeous products by Melbourne-based designer Shonah Tomkins, who makes accessories from timber, resin and fabric. Nice to see a change from the acrylic laser-cut shapes we’ve been seeing so much of recently… in contrast, Shonah’s pieces have a really rustic, hand-made quality.

Each piece is individually handmade – The oak pendants are carefully hand crafted by Shonah’s father, then finished by Shonah using a variety of vintage and original screen-printed fabrics.

More of Shonah’s collection and stockists are detailed on her website.
