Details from the home of Sydney interior designer Juliette Arent… I usually crop these scanned pages but something about the blurred edges and pink post-it notes made me want to leave this one as is! Love my post-its. :) photographer – Anson Smart, Stylist – the incredible Megan Morton.
LOVED the layout, styling and collage illustration in this Inside Out feature on trends in paint colours… photographer – Matthews Williams, Styling – Katie Lockhart.

It is a great month for Australian design magazines! I just received both Inside Out and Vogue Living in the mail… they’re both truly stellar issues… Inside Out especially. Highlights include a beautiful selection of featured homes… my favourite I think is Sydney designer Juliette Arent’s beautiful rental(!) in Darling Point… classy and picture-perfect, yet casual and relaxed in style (images top of this post).
photographer – Nick Bowers, stylist – Mary Temelovski.
Vogue Living shares a similarly eclectic and very generous selection of featured homes… The most interesting is New Yorker David Alhadeff’s Brooklyn apartment. Design*Sponge readers will know Alhadeff as the founder of highly publicised Brooklyn design store The Future Perfect! His home is truly FAB, and more ‘New York bohemian’ than even the most fastidious stylist could recreate :) I have included 3 shots below because it was too hard to choose!
had to drop this in incredible photo too…! It’s the amazing barn/studio of New-Zealand born artist Mark Brazier-Jones
