If creating your own edible garden has been in the back of your mind for years (you’re not alone!), this introduction to permaculture workshop is a must-attend event! Newtown creative space The Ko is hosting a two-hour class detailing the tools, knowledge and inspiration you need to turn your garden into food.

The class will be led by Ben Shaw, a gardener with over 20 years experience who has personally transformed his (previously desolate) Geelong backyard into a thriving, edible garden. His garden swag is so bountiful that has been featured in The Age, Green Magazine and Homelife, and Ben regularly teaches classes to help others achieve their productive garden dreams.

The workshop is intended for those seeking an overview of growing produce in their garden using the principles of permaculture. As well as an insight into Ben’s wealth of knowledge, tickets include refreshments, snacks, an info sheet and a packet of seeds so you can start planting at home right away!

Ben’s workshop is just one of the many stellar upcoming events being hosted at The Ko. See here to view the whole bunch!
