Over the last decade, The Finders Keepers has firmly established itself as one of the country’s most trusted destinations supporting independent Australian designers and makers. Later this month they’ll be kicking off the first leg of their East Coast Tour!
Taking place in the majestic Royal Exhibition building in Carlton, the event features hundreds of emerging and returning designers and makers, as well as fresh food from local vendors and music from new talent over three jam-packed days.
Creatives on the lineup include kids brand Halcyon Nights, who return to The Finders Keepers with their quirky clothing and bed linen featuring sweet illustrations by Australian artists.
Social enterprise Marnin Studio will make their Finders Keepers debut at this event. Operating out of the Marninwarntikura Women’s Resource Centre in Fitzroy Crossing, the arts and therapeutic studio were the worthy recipients of the Indigenous Program, an opportunity from The Finders Keepers designed to provide support for Indigenous makers in Australia.
Byron Bay-based Leah Bartholomew is this year’s Artist Program recipient, creating a bright original illustration for this season’s campaign that will colour the space and feature throughout the venue.
It’s all going down over Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st of October. Don’t miss out on this fab opportunity to get your Christmas shopping out of the way!
