Prolific American designers Charles and Ray Eames are famously known for their philosophy that great design should be accessible to all. Founded in 1984, Japanese clothing retailer Uniqlo share a similar ethos, with a focus on quality design, at an attainable price point.

With a long history of designer collaborations, Uniqlo’s latest partnership is with Eames Office – the LA-based organisation dedicated to preserving and extending the work of Charles and Ray Eames, and founded by the Eames’ late daughter Lucia Eames.

As part of SPRZ NY (Surprise New York), and Uniqlo’s ongoing collaboration with the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, the timeless and best-selling chair designs of Charles and Ray Eames will be featured on Uniqlo T-shirts – possibly the most democratic design of all! The collection celebrates the groundbreaking contributions of Charles and Ray Eames to modern design, art and culture, and at only $19.90, truly embodies accessible design for all.

The SPRZ NY EAMES collection are now available in-store at Uniqlo stores nationally!
