Ballarat is known for its incredible breadth of artisan talent. The rich history of craftsmanship in this regional Victorian city has made it the perfect place for talent to flourish! Visit Ballarat brings the best of the region to Melbourne’s CBD this month with the Made of Ballarat Pop-Up Shop, showcasing a collection of locally made products, tastings and free events that give visitors the opportunity to interact directly with makers.

A shopfront on Little Collins Street will be transformed into a hub of creative activity, designed to offer a window into the wealth of Ballarat-based talent across areas including food, wine, agriculture, and woodwork.

This Saturday will see the teams behind Larrikin Gin & Red Duck Beer offering their extensive knowledge on all things craft beer and distilling gin (yes, there WILL be taste testers!)

Next week Amanda Collins and Scott Denno from Backyard Beekeeping Ballarat will take visitors behind-the-scenes of the colony, sharing their expert knowledge and sweet product samples.

Pop into the Made of Ballarat store, to see what’s happening 90-minutes north-west of central Melbourne!
