Byron Bay-based leather footwear, apparel, and accessories company St Agni have just opened their spectacular new digs in Brisbane. Sitting pretty on the city’s most exciting retail and lifestyle precinct, James Street, St Agni’s Lara and Matt Fells teamed up with Christina Symes and Jessica d’Abadie, co-founders and directors, of interior design studio Triibe to bring to life the new space.

Reflecting the casual elegance of St Agni’s pared back silhouettes, Triibe draws together a balanced selection of natural, earthy and textured materials to bring the brand’s in-person retail experience to life. A mutual appreciation between Lara and Triibe team made for an easy collaboration between the two businesses – ’we are very like-minded and have similar aesthetics, so it’s been a really enjoyable and fulfilling project to work on’, says Christina.

Despite the fact that the majority of St Agni’s sales come from the e-commerce branch of their business, offering customers a tangible experience, particularly in the lively James St precinct, is important to the brand. ‘We have our store in Byron Bay, but being part of the emerging retail hub that is James Street is our first step into solidifying our offline experience’, explains Lara.

The cool, contemporary store is now open for business!
