With cheap furniture from chainstore brands more accessible and attainable than ever before, it’s SO tempting to get a quick fix by buying something new instead of reviving that old fixer-upper that’s been in sitting in your garage for a year. Guilty! Australian wood finishes specialists, Feast Watson, are campaigning for a more thoughtful approach through their Re-Love Project.

Four of Australia’s most in-demand creatives have teamed up with Feast Watson to create their own refurbished timber pieces to be auctioned off this week. Feast Watson have invited interior stylist and furniture designer Sarah Ellison; Belle magazine’s director-at-large Steve Cordony; stylist and art director Nat Turnbull and norsu Interiors founders Nat Wheeler and Kristy Sadlier to reimagine rundown timber furniture, drawing on their unique styling techniques to breathe new life into their pieces.

This isn’t just a case for getting a stylin’ new chair or sideboard, though. Each of the designers has partnered with a charity of their choice that will receive all proceeds from each sale. The revived furniture will be going to auction via the Feast Watson Instagram page from Tuesday, October 23rd to Friday October 26th. Over the past five years, Feast Watson’s Re-Love Project has raised a staggering $30k for Australian charities!

Auctions for all piece of furniture will be taking place from Tuesday, October 23rd–Friday, October 26th via the Feast Watson Instagram account.
