The Plant Society is a much loved Melbourne institution…and now Sydney-siders can get in on the buzz! Jason Chongue and Nathan Smith have built up a loyal green-thumbed following throughout Australia, and have recently established a Paddington outpost for lovers of ‘plants, planters and home goods’ to congregate.
Located at 21 William Street, the new Plant Society store is ‘nestled among a historically rich retail offering.’ The interiors have been curated by Jason, who combines his architecture and visual merchandising expertise with his deep love of all things green! The new store also incorporates a ShopHouse Guesthouse, where visitors can stay the night, perched above the intimate plant shop. Sleep in a blissful urban jungle!
Jason and Nathan highlight that ‘by celebrating plants and all things green, we hope to establish a knowledge bank of skills and techniques that can be enjoyed by all plant enthusiasts, whatever their skill level.’
