Nestled off High Street in the nook of Westgarth and Northcote, is pépite; the sweet, temporary shop featuring over 45 local creatives. Creator Irina Rybakov, moved to Melbourne from Lyon, France only eight years ago! Since then, she has been passionate about uncovering local creative talent, manifesting in the temporary space stocked chock-a-block with gems from Melbourne makers including Tantri Mustika, Alterfact and Jade Thorsen.
‘The idea was the create a space that is somewhere between a shop and a gallery, and really shines the spotlight on the artists behind each object’, Irina explains of her motivation to open the space.
Northcote’s petit pop-up will only be open for a couple more days (last day of trading is December 24th!!), but keep your eyes peeled! Ingrid’s online shop will be opening in January.
