We can always count on the sunny vibes of Byron Bay designers Pampa to light up our dreary locked down days. And boy have they done that with the new ‘Eclipse’ collection!

Inspired by the celestial movements of the sun and the moon, the new range of rugs from Pampa heralds the brighter days ahead. The brand’s signature earthy tones are tempered with discs of gold and burnt orange to symbolise the ancient trajectories of these heavenly shapes.

‘After visiting the town of Arcosanti in Arizona and seeing how celestial symbols had informed an architectural masterpiece there, I was inspired to explore this in new designs,’ explains founder Victoria Aguirre. She also cites the Bauhaus movement as a key influence on the collection.

Pampa works with artisans in rural and remote regions of Argentina (mostly in the Andes mountains) to weave their textiles. They are 100% handmade, using natural materials and dyes.

‘Eclipse’ is available to shop here.
