The truly remarkable home of a Melbourne creative icon, artist and jeweller Julia deVille, is up for sale! Located in the heart of Collingwood, Julia has lived and worked out of this neighbourhood gem for the last 11 years. You might recognise it from this feature we ran on Julia’s home and studio last year!

In keeping with Collingwood’s history as a thriving hub for textiles industry, the double-story home was once a button factory, as well as Melbourne’s first scout hall! Vines weave their way across the gorgeous original dual-front brick facade, which extends behind the sturdy street-facing double doors to reveal a spectacular atrium.

‘I love this place with all my heart. Every major exhibition I’ve produced was formed within these walls,’ says Julia of her home for the last decade, ‘it’s an inspiring place to live and work and I love being so close to the Collingwood Children’s Farm and its delightful farmers’ markets. I’m going to miss it here!’

This is one of those special Collingwood homes that don’t come up very often! Click here to see the full listing.
