It’s no secret we’re big fans of Olana Janfa, but it looks like we’re not the only ones!

Hot on the tails of a knockout collaboration with local fashion label Obus, the Ethiopian-Norwegian painter will host a free online workshop for teenagers as part of the NGV’s Industry Connections initiative.

The Industry Connections program connects young people with artists, industry leaders and creatives through informal discussions and online Q+As. The interactive event series is designed to shine a light on creative careers and provide insight into the diverse roles and opportunities you might not have thought were available in the arts industry. As a self-taught painter, Olana is the perfect person to chat about forging your own career path!

If you’ve got a 13-18 year old in your life with a passion for art and have burning questions about the ins and outs of a creative life, this is their chance to ask a pro!
