Have you ever wished you could see the world through the eyes of a design expert? Leading Australian architecture and design writer Stephen Crafti will take an intimate tour group to Germany with ASA Cultural Tours in September this year.

Celebrating a century of the Bauhaus, a prolific school of arts founded in 1919 that helped pioneer modern design as we know it today, travellers will be treated to an itinerary of significant arts and cultural sites, scored by Stephen’s immense knowledge of global design.

‘It’s the 100th year anniversary of the Bauhaus, the founder of modernism which has influenced the entire world and still impacts architectural practitioners today,’ Stephen explains, ‘This tour celebrates the finest in German design from architecture through to interiors and fashion.’

Stops on the tour include an apartment designed in the 1950s by Le Corbusier and ‘reimagined’ by architect Phil Mohr; visits to contemporary art studios; and a look inside fashion designer Frank Leder’s studio in Berlin, where a treasure trove of fashion and objects are located.

This trip is an INCREDIBLE opportunity, and places are extremely limited! For more of Stephen’s global architecture and design expeditions  – including Finland and Belgium – visit the ASA Tours website.
