It’s been a while since we’ve been able to cover an IRL event like this one, but it feels good that they’re finally back in socially-distanced style!
In collaboration with design boutique The DEA Store, YSG Studio (Interior Design winners of the TDF + Laminex Design Awards!) will host a two-day art exhibition featuring works from two local creatives at its Darlinghurst studio.
Painter Michael McIntyre will exhibit a series of paintings crafted on rice paper, titled ‘Moonlight Garden’. A large colourful work will be flanked by three smaller pieces, each depicting a network of earthly connections under the cover of night.
Accompanying Michael’s detailed canvases are totemic ceramic vessels by Stephanie Phillips, whose organic clay forms embody a similar earthen tone. All exhibited works are available for sale, and can be purchased on The DEA Store’s website now!
