Mercedes me Melbourne has announced its latest event series, Know the Future, coming up soon in October! Looking forward to what our world will look like, these events will explore ideas and technologies designed to support the future of mankind across themes of living, mobility and employment.

Up next week is the first event, The Future of Living. Hosted by our very own Lucy Feagins, this conversation with eco-champion Joost Bakker, and the director of the groundbreaking documentary 2040, Damon Gameau will discuss the future of food production, housing and electricity generation.

The following week, guests will able to view the new Mercedes-Benz EQC – the brand’s first fully electric vehicle – at The Future of Mobility event that will showcase some of the most innovative ideas and future technologies.

Questions like, ‘what does my job look like in the future?’ and, ‘what will automation mean for my skills and wage?’ (aka are robots going to take my job?!) will be discussed in the next event, The Future of Employment, headlined by the founder of Airtasker, Tim Fung, as well as Deloitte Partner and lead author of the Future of Work project David Rumbens, , and Professor Sinclair Davidson, RMIT Blockchain Innovation hub.

Finally, delve into the trends of tomorrow in Future Trends, exploring innovation across design, communication, fashion, interaction, technology and culture.
