Victoria is full of scenic beaches and landscapes that are often reflected inside our homes – but now Kustom Timber have created a new timber flooring range directly inspired by the coastal beauty of the Mornington Peninsula.

As some of Australia’s leading timber floor specialists, Kustom Timber co-founders Mark Chaz and Tristan Tiller wanted to capture the rustic character and natural landscapes of the local region in their latest collection of engineered flooring.

The four options in the Peninsula Collection are bold and full of character, all carefully crafted from European Oak and featuring a refined selection of timber washes, natural knots, and grains designed to only get better with age.

The beautiful selections include ‘Diamond Bay’ – a rich mocha stain filled with bold swirls reminiscent of the stunning views over the Bay of Islands – and ‘Bushrangers’ – a warm mid-tone timber.

St Andrews’ is a classically coastal matt-blonde timber with subtle knots and swirls inspired by the pristine sand dunes and rock pools of the Bass Strait, while ‘London Bridge’ offers more of an urban look with its unique charcoal stain.

Each one has its own distinctive warmth and texture that will enhance any home, coming in planks or herringbone parquetry.

Plus, Kustom Timber are offering a 30% discount to TDF Readers if they simply mention The Design Files! So whether you live close to the beach, the city or the suburbs, the new collection will bring the serenity of the Peninsula into your home.

See the new collection online, or in person at their Mornington and South Yarra showrooms.
