A few years ago, Natalie Walton, the former deputy editor of Real Living magazine, swapped her fast-paced city lifestyle for something a little slower. Moving with her husband and four children to the Yarramalong Valley on the NSW Central Coast, Natalie and her family have since been exploring the meaning of home.

Although Natalie may have left the frenzy of the city behind, she’s still got a lot on her plate! Her most recent pop-up project, Imprint House Residency, brings together a curated collection of homewares designed to help simplify the art of creating a home. In addition to this, Natalie brought together a selection of artists to contribute works based on their idea of home, in a concurrent art exhibition.

On the final day of this Sydney pop-up (today!), Natalie will be launching her new book with Hardie Grant, This Is Home: The Art of Simple Living. An ode to making a home, Natalie’s book explores some of the lessons she and her family have learned since turning down the notch on their own busy lifestyles.

A silent auction will also be held as part of the book launch this evening, with proceeds going towards Women’s Community Shelters.
