In order to raise urgent funds for the UNHCR (the United Nations’ leading refugee agency), artist Hannah Carrick has donated three original paintings in her capsule collection, We Are The Sun, for auction and raffle.

Two of the original, framed, acrylic paintings will be sold via online auction, where the highest bidder will claim the painting. You’ll need to create an account online in order to place a bid, and the current bid is displayed on-screen beside the work. Bids can be placed here and here until midnight tonight.

A third painting will be raffled off, with tickets costing $40 each. Tickets can be purchased here, with sales closing at midnight AEST on Thursday 26th August .

All the proceeds raised will go towards supporting women and children in Afghanistan. This includes access to emergency aid, food, hygiene, sanitary kits and shelter; advocating for the safe passage of refugees; and supporting ceasefire and human rights talks.

The highest bidders and the randomly chosen raffle ticket winner will be notified at 9am on Friday 27th August.
