Finding the perfect-sized vase is a surprisingly difficult task – something Greg Natale has experienced firsthand while designing homes for clients.
Recognising this gap in the market, the prolific Australian designer spent the last year creating his latest collection, ‘New Wave’, featuring three statement vases.
Combining glossy geometrics, cylinders and arches, the range plays with shapes reminiscent of the past, reimagined in a contemporary way.
‘I drew from an array of references for this collection, most significantly the ‘80s interpretation of art deco which was super bold and futuristic,’ Greg says. Also evident are references to the work of Swiss architect Mario Botta, Memphis movement founder Ettore Sottsass, and influential German artist Josef Albers.
The New Wave Collection features the ‘Electric Dreams,’ ‘Devo,’ and ‘Avalon’ vases available in black, white, maroon and navy. New products in the collection are expected to launch later this year. We love!
