The Melbourne School of Design opens its doors for MSDx to share an insight into the minds of future innovators and thinkers within the built environment sphere. In this biannual exhibition, over 60 student design studios will present hundreds of pieces of work, showcasing the talent of our next generation of architects, urban planners, construction managers and landscape architects.

MSDx is our largest showcase of work and the scale of the show continues to increase every semester,’ tells Professor Alan Pert, the Director of The Melbourne School of Design, ‘it’s a brilliant global snapshot of what we teach, what we learn and what we research.’

MSDx transforms the award-winning Melbourne School of Design building into an immersive, interactive gallery space traversing multiple floors. Designed by John Wardle Architects in collaboration with Boston-based architects NADAAA, and completed in 2014, The Melbourne School of Design has been recognised nationally as ground-breaking for its originality and excellence in educational architecture. Trust us – it’s worth a visit for the building alone!
