Do you fancy yourself as a bit of a puzzle master? Can you decipher your corners from your edges from your middles under Masterchef levels of pressure? Jacky Winter has got just the thing for your unique skill set.

The artist agency’s gallery, Lamington Drive, presents their latest exhibition, Make Piece, a multi-part puzzle extravaganza. But this isn’t just your leisurely collaborative family holiday puzzle. This is competitive puzzling.

The first part of this event is an exhibition. Four years ago Jacky Winter artist Clemens Habicht made a puzzle following the CMYK colour gamut that accidentally gained cult-status (seriously, this puzzle series has its own website), and Make Piece features the newest addition to his iconic Colour Puzzle range, the 1000 Changing Colours Puzzle. Yes, you read that correctly – a colour-changing puzzle. Also launching will be the new Jacky Winter Signature Edition puzzles, featuring artworks by Kate Banazi, Marc Martin and Karen Singh. Exhibition visitors will be able to participate in an exercise in puzzle collages, with large solving areas set up for people to play during the week.

Now for the competitive part! Lamington Drive will be holding three heats of team puzzle tournaments (two people per team) over three consecutive Saturdays, culminating in a fourth grand-final event. Each week’s winner will receive the revered 1000 Colours Puzzle by Clemens Habicht.

Bookings essential, first in best dressed! Email info@lamingtondrive.com for more info and to register your interest!
