Charge your phone and make sure you are well hydrated – Brisbane Art Design (BAD) 2019 is ready for 17 days of exhibitions, performances, talks, art tours, workshops and open studios. The festival runs from May 10th to 26th across 25 locations throughout the city of Brisbane.
BAD showcases over 150 local creatives, ‘who are carving their mark locally, to trailblazers who are redefining creativity on the international stage.’ Go fully BAD and take an exhibition tour, or just dip your toe into the badlands with the Creative Mornings talk.
The Museum of Brisbane serves as the festival hub, with a signature exhibition BAD@MoB featuring artists working across robotics, performance, video, installation, ceramics, jewellery and painting from May 10th to August 11th
