You might have dreamed of seeing your artwork hanging on the walls of a gallery – but have you ever imagined it featured in one of the city’s most prominent locations? The City of Sydney is calling out for Australian creatives to submit art and design concepts to bring life to the street-facing exteriors of construction site hoardings, passed by thousands of people every day.

Recognising an opportunity to support emerging and established artists, in 2016 the City of Sydney made it mandatory for developers to embellish their sites with the works of living Australian artists, licensing artwork by 10 artists. Now the City of Sydney is now looking for 10 more works to refresh their artwork bank. This could mean some seriously incredible exposure on a mass scale!

Australian visual artists, designers and photographers are invited to apply, and the 10 winning artists will each receive $11,400. Submissions will be assessed and selected by a panel of five industry experts – entries close on Friday, December 14th at 5pm!
