It’s a rare thing for a couple to combine both their personal and professional worlds. But for the husband-and-wife team behind Dinosaur Designs, this partnership must be second nature by now. Best known for their colourful resin homewares and jewellery, Louise Olson and Stephen Ormandy are celebrated artists in their own right. Given their many years creating alongside each other, it seems fitting to unite their works in one exhibition.

OLSEN ORMANDY: a creative force is a celebration of the pair’s creative partnership, spanning three decades. ‘There is an obvious and continuous aesthetic at play, linking the work of these artists,’ describes art critic, academic and broadcaster Dr. Andrew Frost in his forward to the exhibition catalogue, ‘a deliberate engagement with beauty in surface, form and colour.’

Featuring more than fifty works of art and sculptures, the exhibition highlights vibrant works from their individual artistic practices as well as those made in collaboration, combining exclusive new pieces with those from their dense archive.
