It’s hard to believe that it’s only been two years since Jason Chongue and partner Nathan Smith launched The Plant Society. Expertly combining the growing demand for plant-centric interior styling with horticultural know-how, the pair have recently moved their flourishing business from Collingwood’s Mina-no-ie to a new home in the new CIBI concept store space (…more on that next week!).
Next Monday, The Plant society begin their week-long residency at the Mercedes me store in Melbourne. On Wednesday, join Jason Chongue (The Plant Society), Myles Broad (Eckersley Landscape Architecture), Mat Pember (Little Veggie Patch Co) and Elizabeth Fazio (Open Gardens Victoria) in conversation with TDF’s very own Lucy Feagins as they discuss how our city can incorporate greenery, igniting discussion about community-activated design and growth of green spaces, as well as advice and insight for cultivating plant life at home. Plant people – this one’s for you!
Tickets are $10 and include a welcome drink and nibbles. Find them here!
