I know we’re always singing the praises of every house we feature on The Design Files… but this week’s home is very close to our hearts! Over the past couple of years we’ve been eagerly following the renovations of our very own Art Director Annie Portelli! After MONTHS of bugging her, we finally convinced her to share the finished results. WOW! I know how hard she’s worked on every little detail of this place, so proud!
Following the amazing reception of Rachel Castle’s ‘Sunshine Home‘ a few weeks back, I interviewed the artist and designer for the latest episode of our TDF Talks podcast, which came out yesterday! And yep, Rachel’s personality is just as bright as her gorgeous home.
One of my favourite stories this week came from one of our Indigenous Art contributors, Tyson Yunkaporta, who wrote an incredible and poetic analysis of artist Danie Mellor’s latest show at Tolarno Galleries. It’s a bit longer than usual but SO worth reading for a unique insight into this remarkable exhibition.
