This contemporary family home in Noosa is just a four-minute-walk to Sunrise Beach. If that isn’t an excellent selling point, then I don’t know what is!

Designed by architect Kelly Martin, the house itself is centred around two outdoor areas devised by Landmark Landscapes. With one deck servicing the lush swimming pool oasis to the south, the second is an outdoor entertaining hub complete with banquette seating and a barbecue.

Both these garden spaces flank the open-plan kitchen, living and dining zone that serves as the heart of the home. Full-height sliding glass doors provide ample light and ventilation to this space, as well as connecting it to the outdoors. The kitchen is fitted with custom built-in joinery, while a butler’s pantry provides an additional oven and wine fridge.

A corridor funnels visitors towards the ground floor sleeping wing, which contains two bedrooms and a slick, contemporary bathroom coated in a textured, dark render for a day-spa feel. Upstairs, the spacious main bedroom and office area captures the spectacular ocean views, and fills the space with light during the day. A private balcony overlooks the pool below and creates a breezeway for the upstairs suite.

But the truly epic part about this property is the 12 metre saltwater pool that stretches along the south side of the boundary line, surrounded by tufts of feathery grass. There’s even an outdoor shower for post-beach rinses!

To make matters even more enticing, it’s just a 10-minute drive to Hastings Street – the town’s buzzing main drag.

All in all, this is a full-time home that feels like a dreamy beach house. Goals!

9 Netherby Rise, Noosa will be sold via private sale. See here for the full listing.
