TDF Talks With Award-Winning Magazine Editor Justine Cullen

Justine Cullen is a multi-award-winning magazine editor. After an illustrious career working at various tiles including Girlfriend, Marie Claire and Shop ‘Til You Drop, in 2013, she became the first editor of Elle Australia. She carved a distinct place in the Australian market for this new, fresh, fashion magazine, and won many accolades in the process.

After five years at Elle, Justine took another leap, making the move to Jones magazine, where she’s now editor-in-chief.

In this podcast, Lucy chats to this trailblazing editor and mum-of-four about her career highlights, the challenges facing Australian fashion, and the age-old career-vs-family juggle.

It was so lovely to sit down with Justine Cullen last month at Mercedes me, to chat about her illustrious career and achievements, her take on the state of the Australian fashion industry, the challenges facing publishers and editors, and everything in between!
