This little rocky guy feels like a scene out of Italy, but I've been going more recently to Corsica, which was once Italian but is now French, so I can get by speaking French there. Though up North the roadsigns which are in both French and Corsican have the French bit obliterated by shotgun holes so it's not bad to be Australian.

Corsica is hot and dry, and is all about dry salamis made from goat and boar,  and goats cheeses and figs and honey to sweeten the saltiness, and fish soup ground from small fish that live amongst the rocky coast below the water line.
