Spring has finally SPRUNG in the Southern Hemisphere (woohoo!) and if there's one must-have item for summer this year, it would have to be a good looking vintage-style bicycle. LUCKILY there appears to be no shortage of places to get one!
For the purists out there, Wheels and Dames (formerly Melbourne Vintage Bikes) restore ladies vintage bicycles from the 1970's and 80's. They do a stellar job restoring these gorgeous bikes to their former glory - complete with white wall tyres, leather saddles and wicker baskets. They also sell all their bike accessories (saddles, baskets, lights, mirrors, bells, handgrips etc) online, and they ship Australia-wide.

Jeepers. So much two-wheeled goodness going on in Melbourne at present. I am seriously thinking I will be kicked out of my neighbourhood pretty soon if I don't invest in some form of carbon-neutral transportation! SSshhh.
