Top - bowls by JamFactory furniture design associate Samantha Bosward, bottom left - glass containers with timber lids by JamFactory alumni and studio tenants John Quan and Kumiko Nakajima, right - the 'Kink' oil bottle designed by Deb Jones and handmade in the JamFactory glass studio.

Incredible work by glass artists at The JamFactory - top pieces by Amanda Dziedzic, faceted shapes by Danielle Rickaby, INCREDIBLE glass bowls on the bottom by someone I unfortunately cannot identify Kristel Britcher!  Thankyou Kate at Object Gallery for the eagle eye identification!

I am not quite sure precisely when this happened, but The JamFactory in Adelaide have a NEW WEBSITE which is brilliant!  (Their old website, I must admit, was rubbish).

The JamFactory is a not-for-profit organisation supported by the South Australian Government, and has long been respected for nurturing and promoting Australian design and craftsmanship.  They offer fantastic studios and a versatile gallery space for ceramicists, glass artists, furniture designers, metal workers and jewellers to create, exhibit and sell their work.   For the serious crafter, The JamFactory also offers a great variety of craft courses - from workshops and short courses to a 2 year associate program, which some of Australia's most respected craftspeople have undertaken.

With such an impressive history, it's fantastic to see The JamFactory improving their online presence - they now have a website which really showcases the incredible work they do!  It is now SO MUCH EASIER to navigate and admire the many gorgeous things created by JamFactory associates and tenants!

I can't believe I am telling you this because it is actually a goldmine for blog research, and now whenever I blog about a ceramicist or glass artist from Adelaide you will totally know where I found them :)

Jewellery by Peta Kruger (shes having an exhibition at the JamFactory gallery later this month!)
