A big welcome and hello to this week's Guest Blogger, Tamara Maynes!  Tamara is a creative wonder woman and this week has launched a new range of cross-stitch kits titled 'Well Crafted Threats'. Not only will she be inspiring us all week, she is also offering a Starter Kit giveaway EVERY DAY - comment by 10pm tonight to be in the draw! - Jenny x

Hello lovely Design Files readers, I’m so excited to be contributing to my fave Australian blog! Big love to Lucy and Jenny for being super supportive as always. To coincide I’m launching a new kit Well Crafted Threats Starter Kit - Cross Stitch To Inspire & Motivate. One kit is also up for grabs each day so get your comments in fast!

As a craft designer focusing on decorative arts, I have many different projects on the go at once. When I'm not designing for my online store The Six Week Boutique, I’m crafting custom pieces for individuals, interiors, events and publications. I can also be found holding workshops or producing project pages as the craft editor of SoHi Magazine.

Although naturally driven and a big believer in consequence, my perfectionistic tendencies sometimes leave me needing a slight push in the project department. Not exclusive to wicked behaviour, I find a good old fashioned constructive threat works a treat! Check in each day to see the recent warnings I’ve crafted and pinned to my wall, holding my actions to ransom for all causes creative. They work... not to mention looking pretty fab in the process!

The personal warning that inspired me to design Well Crafted Threats!

Developing this new offering has been a long time coming. Being in fear of letting my loyal craft loving comrades down I found the menacing term USE IT OR LOSE IT got this project done!

Stitch your very own threats using the Well Crafted Threats Starter Kit available at The Six Week Boutique and you can subscribe to be informed about more new pieces on the way! Big thanks to my lovely Mum - #1 cross stitch chart maker and walking craft library who worked behind the scenes on this project.

* UPDATE – thanks so much for all your entries!  Congratulations to comment #52 – Wendy!  Don't forget, Tamara is giving away a kit each day so you still have 4 more chances to win!

A sense of things coming soon to The Six Week Boutique! My #1 assistant and designer for Little Elki Georgina Kaveney is painstakingly unravelling hundreds of metres of freshly dyed cord for new macrame owls as we speak! Don't forget to  Subscribe to our mailout so we can keep you in the loop with all out new projects!
