Happy Thursday! I hope you have had a nice week so far. I have! it’s been pretty fun spending it with you!  You’ve all been very attentive, I can see how you’re working the trends from Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Very cool!  I’m actually getting pretty sad thinking about how I have to leave TDF tomorrow… it’s been so nice, I really have enjoyed my time here. So anyway, without further ado, I would like to present to you today’s trend collective… ‘The Boyfriend’ look!  A trend that represents the feminine beauty that all of us ladies hold.  It proves to the world that even when throwing on our boyfriend's / husband's / partner's shirt, slacks and weekend boat shoes we look effortlessly beautiful and chic. It’s a trend this spring for us peeps down under, resonating from the Europe fall 2010 trends.  A super cute look that is all about cuffed pants (slacks or loose jeans) or shorts (loose denim or cotton shorts) styled with a shirt and a blazer or vest. Whilst still keeping things pretty with florals, frills and amazing shoes. Tip: you cannot go wrong with a Jeffrey Campbell platform, every shoe by Mr Campbell I must say is truly a-mazing. That extra inch and a half makes you feel on top of the world (I would know!). I was a little hesitant when first approaching this trend thinking ‘do I really want to look even MORE tom-boyish?’. But, I have since decided you can mix and match with what you already own and still look ‘on-trend’. You also don’t need to go out and purchase the whole outfit to get this look, one or two items will do. I’m thinking a floral dress, grey tights, suitcase style bag and a blazer would look perfect, or how about cuffed slacks with a grey tee, pretty little bedazzled cardie and classic pearls. Wow, I think I pretty much just sold my self into this look! I’ll leave you here. Enjoy your night and I will speak to you again tomorrow. Cuffs & pearls, DG xx
