After almost 12 months of delicate renovations, the new-and-improved Forum Melbourne is complete. The first thing you’ll notice upon entering, is that the iconic heritage venue’s entrance foyer carpet has been removed to reveal 200,000 mosaic tiles and polished marble stairs!

‘The Forum renovation is 21 years in the making,’ begins Jason Marriner, CEO and Co-owner of Marriner Group. ‘Now with three new architecturally designed bars, 14 bespoke booths and brand new polished hardwood floors throughout, the Forum’s new look is a reinvestment in its continuing future as one of Melbourne’s absolute best events venues for everything from major live music performances through to dinners, cocktail events and small-through-to-large custom events.’

The premier events space has been redesigned to allow for room reveals (thanks to hydraulic adjustable-height flooring), plus there’s a new elevator that can accommodate cars – for real! There’s also been a full reno of green rooms and, to blow the mind of any creative team, new state-of-the-art stage lighting, sound and front-of-house rigging.

The Marriner Group’s catering services will also now be offered at Forum, with a new purpose-built production kitchen rounding out the revamp. All in all, Forum Melbourne can now accommodate 250–550 for dinner, 400–1500 for cocktail events, and up to 800 for presentations.

With gothic grandeur, ambient neons, and the likes of Odesza, Khalid, Kingswood and Vance Joy on the bill over the next few months, we certainly don’t need any more reason to get ourselves in the door!!
